Our interpretation and recommendation

  1. Target audience:
    • The target audience should focus primarily on young adults aged 18-24, as they represent the largest demographic (23%). Also consider targeting male customers, as they represent a significant portion of those surveyed (18%).
    • Since a considerable percentage of respondents (40%) prefer to drink coffee at home, consider offering products and services that meet this preference. This could include selling coffee beans for home brewing, offering coffee subscriptions, or providing comfortable seating areas for customers to enjoy their coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.
  2. Product offering:
    • Based on taste preferences, it is evident that customers prefer coffees with fruity and acidic flavors. So consider offering a variety of light roast coffees, especially those with natural fermentation processes like Café D. Highlight these specialty coffees on your menu to attract customers who appreciate unique and flavorful brews.
    • Additionally, since Coffee A (Light Roast, Washed Process) was also popular among respondents, be sure to include it in your product offering. Consider offering different preparation methods for each coffee to meet different customer preferences.
  3. Pricing strategy:
    • Align pricing with the customer’s perception of value by offering competitive prices for high-quality specialty coffee. Since the target audience is likely price sensitive, consider offering affordable options for everyday coffee drinkers, like single-origin drip coffee or espresso-based drinks.
    • Implement a tiered pricing strategy based on coffee complexity and brew method. For example, charge extra for specialty drinks made with rare or exotic beans, while offering budget-friendly options for everyday favorites.
    • Consider offering loyalty programs or discounts to frequent customers to encourage repeat visits and build customer loyalty.
  4. Additional information and recommendations:
    • Consider creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere in the café to attract and retain customers. Offer comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and a relaxing atmosphere conducive to working or meeting.
